The Spiral 1

Hmm... this sig has been a long time coming for several reasons... Lateralus is not just an album and song, it is a philosophical and psychological concept of reaching a higher consciousness of spiritualism and intellectualism at the same time not over analyzing everything so much that we waste our time too long on one thing that in the end really doesn't matter... the Buddhist have been trying to accomplish this for a very long time, but with the lack of basic education and intellectual resources and the fact they don't focus as much as they should on mathematics, 46&2 and 1:1.628 (Phi), the majority do not reach enlightenment. As for me, I fail because I am mentally unstable and can not come into harmony with myself and especially not other humans, although I know what it takes to reach that point.

I was hoping with focusing on the never ending spiral I could incorporate it into my art through a sig, but I have held it off for so long because I wanted it to be perfect. Not only am I a perfectionist with mild OCD in certain areas, but it would be disrespectful to Tool to do anything less than perfect on something for them.

I have come to the conclusion that I will never be able to do it perfectly even when I am a good designer and have a clue what I am doing so I just gave in and started my first Lateralus piece. I will do many until I have it as perfect as I can get it, but it will take a lot of math and measuring...

I didn't want put Lateralus twice in here, I just didn't think it would look right, so here it represents me and the concept. I did two versions, one is sharper than the other, but I am not sure which one is better, but I just posted the second one...

To... swing on the spiral of... our divinty and... still be a human.
